Nick is currently studying with Simon Rayner (Principal Horn, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House) and Tim Jones (Principal Horn, London Symphony Orchestra) towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance at the Royal College of Music. During his studies, Nick has played with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and has recently completed trials for the 3^rd Horn position with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, the Ulster Orchestra and is currently still on trial for the 3^rd Horn position with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera.

Nick has an active chamber music life, and in addition to being a member of Majestic Brass, he plays regularly with his Horn Quartet and Wind Quintet, formed during his studies at the RCM. This summer Nick played Horn in a recital for the renowned English Brass Ensemble.

Nick is supported in his studies by the Countess of Munster Music Trust, The Leverhulme Trust Scholarship and the John Wates Charitable Trust.
